The year 2008 will mark the 32^nd celebration of February as Black History Month. Originating as an outgrowth of Negro History Week, both have aimed to recognize and disseminate information about the many accomplishments and achievements of African-Americans in American history and America today. ArthurAshe.org is supporting this occasion by debuting new content, including new videos and an entire section profiling important historical African-American sports figures.
